Pay: £85 - £95 per day

We are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work at a supportive and inclusive SEN school in Long Eaton, Nottingham. The school caters to students with a range of special educational needs, including complex learning difficulties, ASD, and physical disabilities. This role provides a chance to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives while developing your own skills in a rewarding and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting individual students and small groups in their learning and development.
Assisting with the delivery of tailored education plans to meet students' specific needs.
Providing emotional and social support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Supporting teachers in creating engaging and accessible learning activities.
Helping with personal care and physical support for students where required.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children or young adults, particularly in an SEN setting (preferred but not essential).
Be patient, empathetic, and dedicated to helping students succeed.
Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
Hold a relevant qualification in education or childcare (desirable but not required).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
