A building and construction client of ours in the Ipswich area are recruiting an Events Coordinator to join their team. This is a FTC position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience.

This position will be working closely with the Executive team to provide a first-class service in planning, managing and executing company events.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Events Coordinator position:

Foundation degree, higher national diploma or a degree in events management, Level 4 Diploma in Event Management or a Level 2 Certificate in Event Planning.
3+ years previous experience within a similar role.
Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event.
Negotiation skills to secure pricing from venues and suppliers etc.
Proactive approach to problem solving.
Strong administration and communication skills.
Creative and innovative approach to event management.
Strong computer literacy.
Ability to influence all stakeholders working to deliver company events on time and within budget.
Attention to detail.
Enthusiastic team orientated approach.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
