The Role

As a Lead Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process from pre-construction through to project delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure innovative, cost-effective, and buildable design solutions that meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and lead the design process across multiple projects

* Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams

* Ensure designs are compliant with regulations and project specifications

* Identify and mitigate design risks early in the process

* Support the pre-construction team with design feasibility and value engineering

* Drive collaboration between design and construction teams for seamless project delivery

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a Design Manager role within construction

* Strong knowledge of building regulations and industry standards

* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight deadlines

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

* A proactive and detail-oriented approach to design coordination
