The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a Product Design Engineer to join the New Product Development team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and production leaders to bring new lighting products from concept to market. Each project will engage you with various materials and processes, including metal fabrication, plastic moulding, and aluminium casting, offering a dynamic and rewarding challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design & Development: Transform new product ideas into market-ready solutions.

* Collaboration: Work with commercial, production, and purchasing teams to meet design specifications, ensure cost-efficiency, and support production.

* Project Leadership: Drive projects forward to meet timelines and quality standards.

* Technical Expertise: Create detailed CAD models and 2D drawings; collaborate with marketing on promotional materials.

About You:

* Degree in Design/Engineering or a related field

* 3+ years of product design experience, ideally with CAD proficiency (Inventor preferred, but flexible)

* Familiarity with materials like plastic moulding, metalwork, and circular design principles is advantageous

* Experience in the lighting industry is welcome but not essential; we value a creative, solutions-focused approach!
