The Role:
As the HR Manager, you will play a vital role in providing HR leadership in the UK. Your responsibilities will include delivering end-to-end HR services, implementing plans and interventions to support attraction, selection, retention, and development of the workforce. You will collaborate with the Global HR team to ensure organisational capability meets strategic needs. ???
Key Responsibilities:
Provide HR leadership for the UK, ensuring implementation of regional and global people plans.
Deliver end-to-end HR services, including workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, and employment relations.
Offer guidance and advice to staff on policies and procedures.
Support managers with people management, team effectiveness, and performance management.
Lead recruitment processes, providing coaching and advice on selection and onboarding.
Design and deliver learning and development programmes as needed.
Contribute to a positive work environment by resolving workplace concerns and promoting employee relations.
Stay up to date with employment legislation and ensure compliance.
Manage the transition to the new HR technology platform.
Lead regional HR programmes and projects, contributing to global HR initiatives.
Support the achievement of organisational strategic goals in alignment with values.
Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in HR, Commerce, or Social Sciences.
Proven experience in a similar HR role.
CIPD Level 5 equivalent certification or experience.
Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
Ability to work independently and handle both strategic and operational tasks.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Problem-solving and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Availability to work flexibly across time zones within a global organisation.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in learning and development.
Background in academic or research industries.
Knowledge of health and safety practises.
Familiarity with HR systems.
