Your Role as Deputy Manager: As a Deputy Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the children and young people in our care thrive. You'll work alongside a Registered Manager and a dedicated team to create a safe and loving home environment, delivering high-quality care that fosters recovery, growth, and lasting change.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and inspire your team, providing therapeutic care tailored to each child’s individual needs.

* Strategically plan and manage day-to-day operations within the home.

* Act as a positive role model for both staff and children, building relationships that foster trust and growth.

* Oversee supervision, staff training, and ensure high-quality childcare practices.

* Work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver the best possible outcomes for each child.

Essential

* Experience in a residential children’s home environment

* NVQ Level 3 in caring for children and young people / children’s residential workforce

* Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures

* Strong leadership with a hands-on approach and a proactive attitude

* Experience managing budgets and rotas

* A valid driving license

* Flexibility to work shifts and sleep-ins
