Are you a passionate and experienced Adult Safeguarding Social Worker looking for a rewarding challenge?

We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Safeguarding Social Worker to join our dedicated team at London Borough of Bexley. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable adults.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of vulnerable adults, identifying their needs and risks.

* Develop and implement effective care plans to safeguard and promote the welfare of adults at risk.

* Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals, including health, police, and other social services, to ensure coordinated support.

* Undertake complex casework, including child protection inquiries and safeguarding investigations.

* Provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues and external agencies.

* Represent the local authority in court proceedings, as required.

* Promote a person-centered approach, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their lives.

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent)

* Registration with Social Work England

* Significant experience in adult safeguarding

* Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work under pressure and manage complex caseloads

* Commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults
