Pace is entering the next phase of growth with ambitious plans for the next three years and beyond. We are building a dedicated Sales function and have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development specialist to be an early member of this team!

Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with our Director of Growth, Leadership Leam, Business Development team and our client account leads with a focus on three key objective areas:

1.

Drive the growth of new business and customer acquisition by identifying new opportunities for Pace

1.

Strengthen relationships with existing customers; identifying and delivering on opportunities to cross-sell and upsell Pace’s services within existing customer accounts

1.

Help establish a new sales function within Pace, shaping sales processes, manging the full lifecycle of sales from lead generation and qualification to customer experience management

You will build a deep understanding of Pace’s values and market proposition, representing the Pace brand to potential new customers and expanding our presence in the industries we operate in.

Too many of our customers have experienced being over-sold to by consultancies, leaving them with unfulfilled promises. We are an outcomes-focused business, and you will have influence across all stages of the process.

This is a truly rare opportunity for an experienced, mid-senior level sales professional to join a newly-formed sales team and lead Pace into its next phase in its growth journey.

We are looking for experience in the following areas:

*

A credible background in consultative, solution-based sales and new business development within the areas of management consulting, professional services or technology sales

*

A solid track record of finding and converting new business leads

*

An ability to manage the full sales cycle and report on sales pipelines though the use of CRM tools (such as Salesforce)

*

Ability to operate as an independent Sales professional, proactively finding opportunities to sell in-person at networking and industry-related events

*

An understanding of management consulting disciplines such as business transformation, project & programme management, and process optimisation / automation is strongly preferred

*

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills
