Job Title: Technical Cyber Security Consultant

Location: Sheffield (Hybrid)

Salary - Up to £85,000 (DOE) + Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join our world-class Consultancy team as a Technical Cyber Security Consultant, supporting the next phase of growth. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with new and existing clients across different industries to define and implement security architectures and solutions tailored to their needs. By complementing clients' in-house Information and Cyber Security resources, you'll combine your expertise in information security, solution architecture, and business advisory to deliver top-tier services.

You will engage with a variety of technology platforms, ensuring that clients make the most of their existing technology while enabling proportionate, risk-informed decisions to safeguard assets and transform their security architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and support the adoption of IT security frameworks for clients, including:
Security Architecture policies, principles, and standards.
Alignment with industry standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001/27002/27005).
Security-specific patterns, models, and blueprints.
Creation of as-is and to-be security architectures and roadmaps.
Security technology radars and KPIs.
Tools and methodologies related to security architecture.
Promote architectural principles that minimize information risk.
Identify security risks in solution architectures, advising on alternate solutions or countermeasures.
Provide assurance on the security of clients' architectures and solutions.To Excel in this Role, You Will Be:

Customer-focused, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experienced in reviewing security-related project delivery plans, network and security technologies, and cloud security designs.
Familiar with HMG and NCSC security policies, standards, and guidance.
Passionate about cyber security, with a drive for innovation and continuous learning.
Capable of delivering security training to end-users.
Self-motivated and able to work independently or in large virtual teams.Why Join Us:

Up to £85,000pa (DOE)
