CAD Design Engineer | Newcastle, Staffordshire | Full Time | £35,000-£40,000 negotiable depending on experience

Caltherm design, manufacture and install Industrial Ovens, Driers and Furnaces and sell worldwide.

For over 40 years, we have supplied a huge range of industrial ovens, with recirculation air up to 650°C and furnaces with multi-zone control up to 1300°.

We design sophisticated custom solutions for loading, heating, curing and cooling applications in a huge range of industries.

Are you the right person for us?

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D is essential
An understanding of steel construction techniques would be an advantage 
Experience in drawing light/medium weight structural steel frameworks desirable
A knowledge of air movement systems incorporating ductwork and plenums would help
What will your role as a CAD Design Engineer look like?

Conceptual design of thermal processing plant
Design and drawing steel frameworks for ovens, dryers, and furnaces
Design Product handling systems
Providing drawings for workshop fabrication, including cutting lists
Sales drawings to enhance tenders
