Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for Live Chicken Hanger’s to join a leading halal meat processing facility located in Claydon, Suffolk. This hands-on role involves handling live poultry and ensuring compliance with halal and health and safety standards. This is a temporary to permanent position after qualifying period (12 weeks working)
Key Responsibilities include:

- Safely and humanely, unload live chickens from Lorries upon arrival.
- Hang chickens onto the production line in preparation for processing.
- Follow strict halal requirements, making this role ideally suited for practicing Muslims.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
- Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
- Physically fit, capable of standing for long periods and performing tasks in a demanding environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high welfare standards.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required, as full training will be provided.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
