Remedy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate candidate who to work at one of our top schools. The school has an Autism Resource Provision and they will require you as a 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a year 3 child with Autism.
This 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant gives you the opportunity to collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student.
1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant | Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant | Requirements:
Experience of working directly with young people in an education or training environment, supporting the learning of students.
Some basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers.
Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
