Entrust Resource Solutions are supporting their client in their search for an Engineering/Production Manager

Main Duties will include:

Maximizing production output for site
Monitor and report production metrics (KPIs) to ensure targets are met or exceeded
Coordinate with the supply chain, maintenance, and quality control teams to ensure seamless production operations
Ensure plant, equipment, and facilities are maintained correctly and are kept in good working order
Responsible for ensuring all site systems are kept in good working order
Carrying out routine plant and machinery inspections and maintenance
Defect management
Managing site improvement projects
Develop project plans, timelines and budgets
Ensure all production and engineering activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards
Responsible for writing and updating Risk Assessments and PTW
Oversee the selection and management of contractors, vendors and suppliers
Product and process R&D
Identify areas for process improvements and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Oversight of Engineering team
Manage the allocation and utilisation of resources, including manpower, equipment and materials  Requirements

Degree level Engineering qualification (ideally Process or Mechanical)
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Pro-active, problem-solving attitude
