Infrastructure Project Manager
Location - London (Hybrid)
Rate - £525 (a day)
Duration - 6 Months (Initially)
IR35 - Inside (Must use an umbrella)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and manage infrastructure projects within our higher education institution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a specific focus on infrastructure projects, and a proven track record of working within higher education settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
Facilitate regular project meetings and updates with stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and administrative leaders.
Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and consultants.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure project management, with at least 3 years in a higher education setting.
Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
Experience with construction, renovation, and facilities management in higher education institutions.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to infrastructure projects.
Financial acumen and experience in budget management
