Mobile Electrical Engineer – Facilities Management

Hertfordshire & Cambridge

£42,000 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Benefits: Fuel card, van with personal use, tools provided, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, overtime, and call-out rates.

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic facilities management team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties in Hertfordshire and Cambridge, carrying out a mix of remedial, quoted, and some project/installation works.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conducting electrical remedial works and delivering quoted tasks

* Completing installation and project work as required

* Responding to reactive maintenance needs and ensuring timely completion

* Being part of a team of 15 engineers, ensuring collaborative and efficient service delivery

Requirements:

* Full UK driving license

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

* 18th Edition qualified (preferred)

* Strong understanding of electrical systems, maintenance, and repairs

Benefits:

* Call-out rota: 1 in 4 weeks, with a standby fee of £100

* Overtime pay: 1.5X after 5pm and on Saturdays (first 4 hours), 2X thereafter
