Role Overview:
As a Health Care Assistant working with patients who have brain injuries, you will be providing crucial support in both the physical and emotional rehabilitation of individuals. You will assist patients with daily living activities, support them with mobility, and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure their care needs are met. This is a highly rewarding role that requires empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

* Help with mobility, including transferring patients safely and supporting their movement.

* Monitor and record patients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to senior staff.

* Provide support with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring nutritional needs are met.

* Assist in the implementation of individual care plans, tailored to each patient’s needs.

* Offer emotional support and encouragement to patients, helping them adjust to changes in their condition.

* Support patients with cognitive and rehabilitation activities to promote mental and physical recovery.

* Help patients with everyday tasks such as dressing, meal preparation, and housekeeping as required.

* Maintain accurate records of care provided, ensuring compliance with company policies and healthcare standards.
