An amazing opportunity for an IT Field Engineer to develop in an established and growing company and exciting role, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional IT support both remotely and whist visiting customer sites around South West London.

This will be a role where you work on the field, so you will travel frequently to customer sites throughout the week around Hammersmith, Richmond and Kingston (South West London). Travel expenses are paid for by the company.

The company are a privately owned business and have been established for years providing technology solutions, IT support and software to the education sector. Also, providing similar support to SME, cooperates and other individuals. They are a multi-million pound turned over business and have achieved natural growth in recent years.

In this role your main responsibilities would be to provide a high level of IT support, provide great customer service and solve a wide range of technical issues for the company's customers You will be assigned a portfolio of between 5 - 7 customers as you travel to their sites when needed ensuring elevated level of technical support is provided.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience providing 1st line / 2nd line support in an MSP or school environment. Have experience working with technologies like Windows, Mac OS, Windows Server and Active Directory. Have good working knowledge of cloud technologies like Google Workspace for Education, Office 365, and Azure. Also, prior experience solving networking issues like DNS, DHCP and GPO.

The Person:

Previous commercial experience providing 1st / 2nd Line support in an MSP environment or school environment
Experience providing good customer service to clients
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Mac OS, Google Workspace, Azure, Office 365, DNS, DHCP and Group policy Management
Experience working in a ITIL framework
Driving license (preferable but not a must)
The Role:

Travel to customer sites when required to provide technical support to client's customers IT issues and providing great customer service e.g., physical hardware
Monitor the efficiency of the network, provide support for the servers, routines, hardware, and software support for workstations
Install software on PCs. This would be locally or via the distribution tools
Ensure the systems are up to date with software and service packs
