Our client is seeking a Legal Secretary to assist them with the day to day running of cases within their Family department. The successful candidate will be capable of providing strong administrative support within a legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:
*
* Answering the phone
* Greeting clients
* Scanning and filing documents
* Preparing file opening, including client care documents
* Closing and archiving files
* Processing payment request forms
* Drafting of simple letters and dictation of audio files
* Data input
* Carrying out ad hoc tasks for fee earners, including preparing sales packs, downloading official copies, tracking changes to documents, drafting HMRC forms and preparing bills
Experience and Skills Requirements:
*
* Excellent time management skills
* Experience working within an office environment
* Experience of family law would be advantageous
* Commitment to client care and providing high levels of service
* Strong attention to detail, including punctuation, spelling and formatting in accordance with company standards
* Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office programmes
* Awareness of the legal market
