Mechanical Engineering Tutor

We are working with an education provider in the Warwickshire area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Tutor to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.

The role will involve delivering Mechanical Engineering teaching on their level 2/3 apprenticeship programme, and the delivery would be a mix of theoretical and practical sessions. The classroom sessions would revolve around engineering theory delivery (such as Mechanical Principles and Materials Science), and the workshop-based teaching would be on Machining and CNC skills.

The starting salary for this position is up to £39,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), and the package would also include a teacher's pension (with employer contributions of 28.68%), and an extensive non-term time holiday allocation of approximately 50 days (including Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 qualification in Engineering
-Good knowledge of Machining & CNC
-Good knowledge of Mechanical Engineering theory
-A teaching qualification OR previous experience of teaching engineering
