Bennett and Game are pleased to represent an established and growing national firm of chartered surveyors and construction consultants, who are currently looking for a Clerk of Works to join their office in Reading. You will be carrying out Clerk of Works services on a range of construction projects within the Surry area. This opportunity offers an attractive package and genuine progression.

It is envisaged that the ideal candidate has previous experience working as a Clerk of Works with a range of project experience and will be able to commute to Reading on a hybrid basis.

Clerk of Work Position Remuneration

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Company Car or Car Allowance
25 days holiday increasing to a maximum of 30 days based upon time served, plus Public and Bank Holidays.

Clerk of Work Position Requirements

Must have previous experience in a similar role
Relevant qualifications or certificates
Must be based within a commuting distance of Surrey
Demonstrate technical proficiency in identifying defects, snags and general construction quality.
Demonstrate a wide and understanding of the building industry, including knowledge of materials, trades, methods and legal requirements.
