Job Title: Fire Damper / Air Hygiene Engineer
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £38k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting in the Midlands for a well-rounded Fire Damper / Air Hygiene Engineer, to service a range of commercial, manufacturing, public sector and food & beverage sites. The role will require an organised and enthusiastic individual, who has a varied skillset. The company are a leading name within the Ventilation industry, who provide a comprehensive range of services, so there are fantastic opportunities for further training into areas, including LEV and HVAC. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and packages.

Our client requires candidates to be based around: Walsall, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Rugeley, Lichfield, Tamworth, Coalville, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford, Stourbridge, West Bromwich, Kidderminster, Worcester, Droitwich Spa, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Nuneaton, Solihull, Redditch, Daventry, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Beeston, Melton Mowbray, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience working as a Fire Damper / Air Hygiene Engineer
- Good working knowledge of BS9999 and TR19 guidelines
- Ideally you will hold a CSCS card
- IT literate
- Experienced in writing detailed service reports
- Flexible to travel as required
- Hardworking attitude

The Role:
- Conducting inspections, testing and minor repairs of Fire Dampers, duct work and ventilation systems
- Completing drop tests
- Cleans on kitchen extract and ventilation systems
- Assisting with the installation of access doors
- Updating site logbooks and writing detailed service reports
- Working to strict industry standards
- Representing the company in a professional manner
