Import & Export Compliance Specialist

Location: Derby, UK

Salary: Up to £40,000

Job Type: 12 Month Contract

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trade compliance, customs regulations, and logistics, and will be proactive in managing the company's import and export documentation, classifications, and overall compliance processes.

From You:

3+ years of experience in import/export compliance or a related role within a global supply chain environment.
In-depth knowledge of international trade laws, regulations, and compliance issues (e.g., ITAR, EAR, OFAC).
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and compliance software (e.g., SAP GTS, Customs brokerage systems).
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to interact effectively with various teams and external partners.
Certification in trade compliance (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist, Licensed Customs Broker) is a plus.
