A truly unique opportunity here for a Senior Architect to join a relatively newly set up practice that have big plans for expansion, to be based in their office in Birmingham city centre.

THE COMPANY:

The practice were established by an experienced Architect 4 years ago following a stellar career to date within AJ100 practices in the West Midlands. The Director has built up their company single handedly and the practice now have a portfolio of clients with prestigious names throughout the UK, with a queue of further potential clients knocking on their door.

Work wise the practice focus on the Residential sector, with particular impetus on "luxury" build homes and one off domestic clientele, but do have an array of housebuilder and developer clients that utilise their services on a regular basis. The kind of work means the Senior Architect taking up this position will be able to showcase their design flair whilst also taking projects from concept through to completion in a fast paced environment.

This is a genuinely fantastic opportunity for a Senior Architect to join an upcoming practice at their grass roots stage. There's very much an intention for the person taking up this position to become a Director in the not too distant future, and be instrumental in contributing to the growth of the practice long term.

The practice is now well placed to build on their accumulated success and start their journey of growth, beginning with the addition of a Senior Architect.

THE POSITION:

The position on offer is for a Senior Architect with approx. 5 years of post qualification experience, but could also be offered to an Associate level Architect. The Senior Architect for this role will need both design flair and technical nous, along with astute commercial awareness. This position will see you in a client facing role often working on multiple jobs at once in a fast paced environment, so the role requires an Architect that can deal with this kind of responsiblity.

As a Senior Architect you will be working with Residential clients throughout the West Midlands and wider UK, delivering projects from concept to completion, with projects generally ranging into the millions in value.

The practice have big plans for growth which you will be a huge part of. As a Senior Architect you will be involved in recruitment strategy for the office, and will eventually be leading a team once more recruits come on board. You will essentially be "number 2" in the office, and will be rewarded as such in the long term with the opportunity to progress through to Director level in the future.

Salary in the region of £40,000-£50,000
