Technical Manager – Food Manufacturing

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business in the Greater Manchester area. They are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead their technical and quality teams, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, compliance, and product quality.

The Role:

* Leading the technical function, ensuring compliance with BRC, food safety, and retailer standards – they achieved BRC AA+ in their most recent audit.

* Managing quality assurance processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives

* Working cross-functionally with production, NPD, and senior management to drive quality and compliance standards

* Acting as the key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven technical management experience within food manufacturing

* Strong understanding of BRC and retailer standards

* Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills

* Ability to manage audits, investigations, and compliance reporting effectively

* A proactive and strategic mindset to drive improvements
