We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a key client of ours, who are busy across the Manchester region. My client, are looking for an experienced QS / Senior to join a live project in Manchester.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, ensuring budgets are adhered to, and delivering the project on time and within financial targets working alongside an established team within one of the UK’s most successful main contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Cost control and management throughout the project lifecycle

* Conducting valuations and processing payments

* Negotiating contracts and managing subcontractor relationships

* Providing accurate financial reporting and forecasting

* Managing and responsible for some key sub-contract packages of significant values

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 Years + experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

* Strong knowledge of cost management and contract administration

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

* Available for a full 6-month commitment
