Spirehouse are currently recruiting for a Drug & Alcohol Support Worker for a Children & Young People service in Oxfordshire

The Opportunity:

To support children and young people of Oxfordshire and provide substance use intervention service. Responsible for a case load of young people aged 8 – 25 to provide comprehensive interventions around alcohol and other drugs

The successful candidate will:

* Provide a trauma informed approach to assess, care plan and intervene

* Work with young people aged 8 – 25 with substance use

* Reduce negative impacts of drugs and alcohol to improve education, employment and overall health

* Deliver psychosocial interventions to families

* Support young people with familial substance use

* Work with youth support teams and external agencies

* Engage with school, home, community and family centres

Further information:

* Permanent roles

* £25 – 30,000pa

* Full time 35 hours per week

* Mobile role across Oxfordshire

Requirements:

* Driving Licence and access to vehicle

* Enhanced DBS (preferably on the update service)
