Trainee Forklift Mechanic

Our client, a reputable company in the FMCG sector, is currently seeking to recruit a Trainee Forklift Mechanic on a permanent basis. This organisation has a commendable track record in nurturing talent and providing excellent opportunities for career progression.

Key responsibilities - Trainee Forklift Mechanic:

* As a Trainee Forklift Mechanic, you will be engaged in various electrical and mechanical tasks, specifically working with forklift. We value practical experience in electrical mechanical engineering and a professional attitude toward the working environment.

Skills & experience- Trainee Forklift Mechanic:

* The ideal candidate should possess a background in mechanical and electrical engineering, along with knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics, and experience with diesel, petrol, or LPG-powered engines.

* We encourage applications from individuals with experience in the maintenance of vehicles, forklift trucks, cherry pickers, powered access equipment, VNA trucks, or similar.

* Importantly, experience in forklift maintenance is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Hours & Shifts- Trainee Forklift Mechanic:

* The position involves rotating shifts from 0500 to 1300 and 1200 to 2000, Monday to Friday.

Benefits- Trainee Forklift Mechanic:

* Basic salary £28,600

* Annual Bonus £1,000 (£500 paid every 6 months)

* Overtime Days £20.63 (Mon-Sat) and £27.50 (Sun & BH)

* Overtime is regularly available

* Permanent, no Agency
