An experienced Solar PV Designer who has Commercial Solar PV project exeprience is wanted by a leading Renewable Energy business working across the South of the UK.  The position will see you designing various roof and some potential ground mounted solar systems of various sized systems, both within a domestic and commercial capacity. 

Job Description

Undertake all tasks necessary in order to produce a Solar PV Design Proposal for a range of domestic and commercial sized systems.
Ensure all necessary information is gathered for the required design.
Produce the necessary calculations and design using Easy PV or Open Solar.
Determine the best Solar PV panels to meet the brief and check availability.
Determine the best Mounting System for the substrate and check availability.
Identify all necessary Electrical components that will be needed for the system.
Produce a proposal/quotation based on the above.  
Experience & Skills Required
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

Experience is designing both domestic and commercial Solar PV systems of various sized projects.
Easy PV, Open Solar software or equivalent.
Experience in making DNO applications.
Familiar with the type of materials and equipment on the market: PV Panels, Electrical and Mounting Systems.
A knowledge of EV Charging/ battery systems and being able to design those into the system would be advantageous.
