Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant – SEND/ADHD Support:

Provide focused support to students with SEND and ADHD, both inside and outside the classroom.
Collaborate with teachers to tailor lessons and activities to suit individual student needs.
Implement behaviour management strategies to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all learners.

Requirements of the Teaching Assistant – SEND/ADHD Support:

Previous experience working with children with SEND or ADHD is highly desirable.
A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting young people.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
An updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
