Zest are recruiting a lead engineer to join a market-leading food business in Leicestershire

Responsibilities:
- Oversee a small team of shift engineers.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Delegate maintenance schedules and plans.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Lead equipment installation and upgrades.
- Implement improvements.
- Manage spare parts.
- Provide technical support and training to staff.

Requirements:
- A recognised apprenticeship or vocational qualifications in engineering to level 3 standard (electrical preferred).
- Some supervisory experience.
- FMCG background. Food/packaging favourable.
- Right to work in UK.
