Pharmacy Dispenser

Location: Royal Leamington Spa –

Job Type: Temporary

Duration of booking: Expected to last 3 months with possible extension.

Proposed start date: ASAP

Pay Rates: £12.82 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay

The hours are optional:

* 4 days on and 4 days off from 9am-9pm with some paid breaks.

OR

* Monday-Friday 9am-6pm

OR

* Weekends - 9-6pm

1. Dispensing & Handling Medications

* Picking, packing, and labelling medications according to prescriptions/orders.

* Ensuring accuracy in dosage, strength, and quantity before dispatch.

* Maintaining proper documentation for dispensed items.

2. Inventory & Stock Control

* Receiving, checking, and storing pharmaceutical stock.

* Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or excesses.

* Conducting regular stock audits to prevent discrepancies.

* Ensuring proper storage conditions (e.g., temperature control for sensitive drugs).

3. Compliance & Safety

* Adhering to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and pharmaceutical regulations.

* Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for medication handling.

* Ensuring controlled drugs are stored and recorded properly.

* Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.

4. Order Processing & Logistics

* Preparing orders for hospitals, pharmacies, or healthcare providers.

* Working with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.

* Handling returns and disposing of expired or damaged stock safely
