Job Title: Year One Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Gravesend
Pay: £160 - £210 per day (via PAYE)
Start Date: April 2025 (1 year fixed contract)

Vision for Education is working in partnership with a charming one-form entry school in Gravesend to find a nurturing, passionate and dedicated Year One Teacher for a one year fixed contract.

We are looking for a Teacher who can;

Create and manage a caring, supportive, purposeful and stimulating environment which is conducive to children’s learning
Plan and teach lessons which meet the needs of all children and ensure they can reach their full potential
Recognise that each child is unique and adapt teaching styles appropriately to facilitate effective learning experiences
Effectively monitor and assess children’s progress and evaluate their own teaching on a regular basis
Demonstrate detailed knowledge of the National Curriculum
Be committed to upholding the positive ethos and core values of the school
Work cohesively as part of a team environment
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
