ABC Teachers are seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work within a mainstream primary school within the Sandwell area.

You will be workingclosely with the class teacher to help support Reception pupils on a 1:1/1:2 basis.

The students you will be working alongside are awaiting an EHCP assessment but has suspected ASD as well as some behaviour needs due to not being able to always communicate how they are feeling.

You will be working full-time from 08:30 – 15:30 1/2 days per week until the end of the academic year.

The right person needs to have a passion for supporting pupils, experience working with SEND and the ability to form good relationships with students.

To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Have previous experience working with SEND children
Have suitable qualifications to work with young people
Have strong communications skills with all stakeholders
Able to cater to different children’s needs
