Due to continued growth our client, a Freight Forwarder, is looking to employ an additional Business Development Manager to join their existing team.

Based at head office in Dagenham

Role:- Business Development Manager: European Road Transport and Customs. Any knowledge of Ocean and Airfreight would also be an advantage.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director. The successful candidate(s) would be responsible for developing their core services.

The role will involve fieldwork, including identifying and targeting potential new clients as well as working closely with existing customers and own employees to strengthen existing relationships.

Requirements:

* A fully experienced and proven BDM in the freight forwarding environment.
* Strong focus in European Road freight.
* A full clean driving licence.
* Prior connections within the industry.
* Self motivated with a hard- working driven ethos.
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of an established team.

Remuneration:

* Basic Salary: circa 45k – 50k per annum
* Commission
* Car allowance.
* Holiday: 25 days + 8 BH

Hours: 9am – 5.30 pm
