Job Description

We are seeking skilled Systems Engineers for multiple roles based in Crawley on a hybrid basis, each offering the opportunity to work on critical defence projects. Whether you have general systems engineering experience, specialize in left/right hand side systems, or excel in requirements management, we have a position for you.

Key Responsibilities:

General Systems Engineering: Apply your expertise in system engineering processes and practices, with a focus on the full lifecycle of defence systems.
Requirements Management: Use DOORS to manage and derive requirements, ensuring all project needs are accurately captured and met.
Leadership and Coordination: Lead Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), and mentor a team of junior systems engineers.
System Integration: Work with a variety of technologies to integrate and verify systems in a logical and structured manner, meeting all customer requirements.
Collaboration: Develop and establish collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders, ensuring a system-centric approach to all projects.
Communication: Present and explain complex technical problems clearly, tailoring your communication to suit different audiences.

Qualifications

2+ years experience in Systems Engineering in Defence, Aerospace or similar industries (Rail, Energy, Automotive etc)
Strong understanding of Systems Engineering Lifecycles and the ability to apply these principles to complex projects.
Proficiency in DOORS for requirements management and requirements derivation.
Experience with CDR/PDR processes.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders across disciplines.
Eligibility for SC clearance (UKEO), with a proactive and can-do attitude.We are looking for Systems engineers with a wide range of skills and expertise, so whether you fit one or all of the above criteria, we would love to hear from you!
