Our client a very well established and reputable Solicitors based in Chelmsford are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous commercial and residential conveyancing experience along with a positive attitude and great work ethic.
Duties for the Legal Secretarial role are:-
* Providing Secretarial and administrative support to the Conveyancing Solicitor.
* Drafting and preparing correspondence and legal documentation whilst handling confidential information.
* Diary management - arranging appointments / meetings
* Creating and managing client files.
* Collating information
* Maintaining, scanning, organising and archiving documentation and files.
* Communicating with internal colleagues, Solicitors and clients.
Requirements for the Legal Secretary role:-
* Previous experience in a similar Conveyancing Legal Secretarial role
* Strong communication skills both written and oral
* Good MS Office / IT and audio typing skills
* Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise own workload
* Strong proof-reading ability and attention to detail
* Positive team player
* Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines

In return for your hard work, our client is offering a salary of £28,000 - £31,500pa), 26 days holiday, death in service benefit, pension and on-site car parking. Please note this is an office-based role.
The working hours for this role are 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
