Electronics Repair Engineer, Electronics, PC, Networking, Stoke to £26,500

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Electronic Repair Engineer to join one of the world leading leisure brand in Stoke. Due to growth they are looking for an Electronic Repair Engineer to repair, service and refurbish electronic equipment within the tech support centre. The role focuses on the provision of a high-quality technical repair service, in order to maintain customer contracts. Training and support will be offered to the individual in order to become competent in the role.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Refurbish electronic gaming equipment

• Repair a wide range of electronic and mechanical parts used in the field

• Maintenance, design and setup of new/existing test rigs

• Investigate opportunities to improve the product to provide a more cost-effective solution for all parties

• Manage and control of spare parts for product repair and upgrade

• Identify possible machine modifications to improve uptime

• Liaise with equipment suppliers, to justify and implement possible improvements

• Assist with installations throughout the UK and Europe as required to meet business needs

• Setup and configure systems with software and networking parameters

Required Skills

• HNC or HND in electronic and electrical engineering, or equivalent level course in IT, networking, programming or media systems

• Fault finding experience of PC systems, configuration and networking

• Knowledge and experience of scripting languages would be an advantage but not essential

• Able to systematically work through problems to affect a resolution

• Ability to work as a team or alone with good customer facing skills

• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and on the phone

• Be willing to travel when required (within reason)
