We are working with our client who are a leading offshore fabrication company based in Wallsend in their search for a Fabrication Coordinator.

This is an ideal role for someone with Structural/fabrication/production experience to step into a coordination style role. A Plater for example or foreman.

The idea is to get this person trained and then move them into a production lead role so it is excellent progression

Responsibilities:
• Arrange and coordinate production areas
• Supervise labour and plan resource
• Ensure safety across work area
• Deal with engineering drawings
• Liaise with other departments in regard to progress, resource need and any challenges

The Person:
• Ideally a time served fabricator/plater or general foreman/production manager in a fabrication setting
• Able to read engineering drawings
• A flexible team player
