ROLE: Design Manager

LOCATION: Dartford, Kent
SALARY: £60,000 - £70,000 plus car allowance/company car

THE COMPANY

Our Client are a privately owned, deeply rooted main contractor who provide an outstanding service in a new build and refurbishment capacity offering a bespoke and unique approach to each project they encounter, working predominantly across the South East and London region. They typically have involvement in projects from values of £5-£50m in a multitude of different sectors to include but not limited to: Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare and Retail

THE JOB

The successfull applicant will be in charge of the Design and Delivery of the project and will be expected to deliver to an excellent standard, exceeding Client's expectations.

Other duties are to include:

* Responsibility of managing and delivery of the design information to align with the agreed design programme.

* In charge of ensuring the design is compliant to relevant legislation and all technical requirements.

* All other aspects of day to day Design Management duties included

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Technical knowledge within the construction industry and will have worked on project values between £1 - £20m

* Experience within any of the following sectors: Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare and Retail

* Excellent understanding of Excel

* Excellent planning and organisation skills

* Good time management skills

* Self-motivating

* Evidence of maintaining a professional, consistent, and fair approach

WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO

* A basic salary of circa £60,000 - £70,000
