Analytical Chemist

Location: Sunderland

Salary: £24,000

CY Partners are currently seeking an Analytical Chemist to join a research focused Pharmaceutical manufacturer based in the North East of England. The successful candidate will play a key role in the analytical chemistry team, contributing to the development and validation of analytical methods, and supporting the overall quality control processes.

Responsibilities:

Conduct analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various analytical techniques

Develop and validate analytical methods in compliance with regulatory standards

Utilise analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV-Vis for testing and characterisation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development projects

Participate in the investigation and resolution of analytical issues and out-of-specification results

Role Requirements:

BSc/MSc in Chemistry or related field

Knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV-Vis

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
