Our client are currently recruiting for Manual machinists to work onsite at a large military site in Glasgow for 90% of their time and 10% of time at their workshop also Glasgow,

We are looking for skilled machinists that have been apprentice trained in a heavy engineering environment and trained in the competent operation of medium to large workshop lathes, milling machines, vertical borers and particularly large horizontal boring machines.

The machine tools are on site and you will be working as part of a team to machine the works on the portable machine tools. These are built on site and we are looking for manual machinists to work on them.

BIG EARNING POTENTIAL

There is endless amounts of overtime on offer and is paid at very high rates.

Basic salary is £17.50 p/h - any overtime over 39 hrs is paid at time and a half (£26.25)

Any overtime after 4 hours worked on a Saturday is paid at double time (£35.00)
