Interim Financial Controller - PE-backed Agritech Business
Cedar is currently partnered with a high-growth, private equity-backed agritech business to secure an Interim Financial Controller for a 4-6 month contract. The role is based near Luton, offering a competitive day rate of £(Apply online only) per day (outside IR35).

The Role
As the Interim Financial Controller, you will:
Lead a comprehensive review of balance sheet reconciliations, assessing existing documentation and addressing historic issues.
Conduct deep dives into legacy financial data to ensure accuracy and resolve longstanding discrepancies.
Establish and embed robust processes to strengthen balance sheet controls and support sustainable financial management.
Overhaul and streamline general ledger processes, ensuring efficient data management and integrity.
Develop and document clear month-end procedures to standardise and improve team operations.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you will have:
A recognised professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Strong experience in delivering analytical reviews of legacy data to enhance financial reporting accuracy.
A proven track record of improving financial controls and processes within a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on experience in managing and resolving complex accounting challenges, including balance sheet reconciliations and process optimisation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to delivering results.
