Role - Design Development Engineer

Location - Cambridge

Salary - £35,000 to £45,000 DoE

Permanent Contract + benefits

Hours - Monday to Friday 0730 to 1630

Running your own projects. Designing and building your own prototypes. Finalising prototype builds. Finalising SolidWorks design pre-manufacturer.

The role gives you full autonomy to bring your own design to life through prototype builds!

Daily metal work – SolidWorks Design, CNC Machining, Welding, Fabricating, Mechanical Fitting.

What we are looking for,

* Formal Mechanical Qualification (HNC / HND / BEng)

* Any strong workshop skills

* CNC Machining / Programming

* Welding / Fabrication

* Sheet Metal experience

* Hands-On Mechanical Fitting

* Knowledge of SolidWorks (training to be provided)

* Must be eligible to work within the UK

* Proactive work attitude
