I am looking for a Commis Chef to work at a state of the art exhibition centre that caters for a variety of functions and events in the Colchester area. Must have at least 6 months experince working as a Commie Chef in a commercial kitchen and be be proficient in food preparation and kitchen hygiene and safety.
Job description
* Monitor kitchen equipment
* Work closely with the head chef to develop new skills and knowledge
* Measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings
* Preparing and packaging of sandwiches
* Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy
* Deal with deliveries and stock
* Plates meal items under the chef de partie’s supervision
Experince and qualifications
* 6 months experince working in a commercial kitchen
* Profeesional cookery qualification
* Health & safety and food hygiene and allergen certificate. Training can be offered
* Must have a good work ethic and be passionate about food .
