Overview of an IT Support Officer:

Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within London Borough of Harrow for a self-driven and motivated IT Support Officer to join an expanding team. The role of an IT Support Officer has a competitive pay rate of £17.94 PAYE.

The Main Purpose of an IT Support Officer:
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and peripherals
Monitor and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems
Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolution to IT-related problems
System Updates: Implement new system releases and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to users
Ensure secure and controlled access to systems and maintain data integrity
Maintain accurate records of hardware and software using software tools
Utilize software tools to automate processes and improve efficiency
About you, the successful IT Support Officer will have to:
 Excel at resolving technical issues with a methodical and organized approach.
Be capable of analysing diverse and extensive data to make appropriate recommendations for necessary actions.
Be able to manage your own workload and adjust priorities according to the changing work environment.
