Mac Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shift Team Leader to join an incredibly successful renewable energy brand.
Shift Team Leader - Overview
Our client is recognised as one of the leaders in the renewable energy market as a significant contributor to the production of biomass energy for the home market. .
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a two man shift team.
Responsibilities
* Manage day to day objectives for the site to include operational output, logistics, long term operational and maintenance needs, statutory compliance, resource planning and cost control measures.
* Identify and achieve key indicators of success, establishing improvement plans and targets for the shift team.
* Manage and be fully accountable for the core requirements of the SHE Management system.
* Ensure shift teams are competent both technically and behaviourally and that adequate support is available, organised and supervised where necessary.
* Provide strong management giving precise delegation and responsibility where needed.
* Motivate and enthuse all members of the shift team to contribute to a purposeful environment.
* Ensure full implementation and continued improvement of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Shift Team Leader - Experience
The successful candidate will be a competent CMMS user with a high level of technical and operational plant awareness. Ideally you will have a ‘time served’ apprenticeship, a management qualification equivalent to level 3 or above, IOSH Managing Safely or above, with a minimum of 5 years power generation/utility experience. You will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and IT skills.
