Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday - Friday

About the Role:

As a Lighting Repair Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing entertainment lighting and video equipment. You will diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and perform component level repairs on a variety of lighting fixtures, consoles, and AV equipment.

Duties:

Service and repair entertainment lighting and audio visual equipment in the workshop.
Raise lists of spare parts and consumables required to the procurement team.
Diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems with moving lights, lighting consoles, and LED lighting fixtures.
Perform component level repair and soldering as needed.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in lighting technology.
Attend manufacturer training events.
Maintenance of tools and workshop equipment.
Adhere to health and safety policies.

Experience / Skills Required:

Experience within a service/repair role in entertainment lighting or a similar field.
Strong knowledge of DMX, Artnet, moving lights, lighting consoles, and LED lighting fixtures.
Relevant degree or qualification in electronics would be highly beneficial.
Experience with crimping and soldering.
Component level repair experience would be highly beneficial.

Salary: £34,000 - £37,000
Bonuses paid twice a year - up to £5,000 on top of the above salary.
