An established accountancy and tax advisory practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Accountant to join their team. With over 25 years of practical experience, the firm offers a wide range of services and support to owner-managed businesses, small and medium-sized enterprises, and high-net-worth individuals. Their mission is to provide bespoke, friendly, and efficient services tailored to clients' needs, helping them achieve success in their business ventures.

Role Overview:

As Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax advisory services. Key responsibilities for the Senior Accountant include:

* Preparation of statutory accounts for various client entities.

* Providing tax advice and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

* Assisting with company formations, including all necessary documentation and filing.

* Managing payroll services for clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

* Handling VAT submissions and queries.

* Overseeing bookkeeping activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

* Working closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and providing tailored solutions.

What We're Looking For:

* A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) or qualified by experience with a strong background in practice.

* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally as a Senior Accountant within a general practice environment.

* Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

* A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to add value to client services.
