Develop and implement strategic procurement plans
Manage and optimise supply chain operations
Lead negotiations with suppliers and vendors
Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations
Manage risk within the supply chain
Implement cost saving and process improvement strategies
Coordinate with internal stakeholders on procurement needs
Provide procurement and supply chain expertise to the councilProfile
A successful Interim Strategic Procurement Manager should have:
A degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
Prior experience in strategic procurement and supply chain management
Knowledge of public sector procurement regulations
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships with suppliers
Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
Strong communication skills, both written and verbalJob Offer
A competitive daily rate of £500-£600 per day Inside IR35
