The School and Role

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly primary school in Bedlington. Working as part of an established team, the desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be supporting lessons and covering PPA across KS1 classes. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. This school creates a really supportive atmosphere, so children feel safe and happy in school – they were rated as ‘Good’ at their last Ofsted inspection. The position is likely to become permanant. 

Requirements

The desired Early Years Teaching Assistant will have;

Experience of working with primary school aged children
Experience of working with pupils with SEND
A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
An ability to work as part of a team
